So I am one assignment being marked away from being a personal trainer.
Hurry up and be marked please – it has been submitted for a while!
This poem, it struck a cord.
I’m not being a personal trainer for the money, or the glory. As much as I’d like to be the next Michelle Bridges, it probably won’t happen.
I’m doing it to empower. To inspire.
To show those women (and men!) what they are capable of.
What their body is capable of.
How strong they are.
The determination they hold deep inside.
The beauty of new muscles and of change.
I’m doing it because I want people to love themselves.
Because it’s true.
You’re not the size of your clothes.
Or your weight.
You’re all your achievements and failures that lead to achievements and tears when you think you just can’t and joy when you finally did.
And that’s why I’m doing it.
